The Commerce Court (originally Canadian Bank of Commerce) building was built during the Great Recession. When the North tower was completed in 1931, it was the tallest building in the Commonwealth. The ceilings are coated with gold.

This amazing shot shows the Wintergarden Theater, a historical theatre sitting on top of the Elgin Theater, with real live-looking, but dried  plants, mostly vines hanging from the ceiling and 200 small Chinese lanterns illuminating them. Crazy, and a must-see!
