Coffee Mill Review
Funnily enough, I can’t actually say whether this legendary Yorkville mainstay lives up to its name. Even though I love the old decor, the nice, comfortable atmosphere, and the welcoming, friendly service, I’ve never actually tried the coffee. The main …(Coffee Mill Review continued…)

Jamie always make us feel like we were a priority and I was very grateful both for his skills and for his consideration. There is no question that I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone.

This trendy burger joint at Dundas and Ossington has only been open for a few years, but it works very hard to give off a vibe that says otherwise. The rustic and old timey decor is obviously somewhat artificial, but it doesn’t stop the place from feeling very cool. Unfortunately, the badly insulated front door also insures that the restaurant is cold. I was freezing even with a thick sweater on.
However, the food improved matters greatly. The burger was very good; well cooked and savoury without being greasy. The blue cheese sauce was also delicious without being too rich. The fries were a little mediocre, but by no means bad.
BQM is a sweet little place to enjoy a well made burger. It has a trendy hipster vibe, plays funky blues music, and employs a perfectly fine wait staff. If you’re in the neighbourhood and feel like taking in some slick decor and a tasty meal, head on over.
