Testimonial
I had the pleasure for working with Jamie Sarner in early 2012 to help locate my new property in mid-town Toronto. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the market. The patience he took to help me find just the eight location, with all the amenities I had requested was outstanding. I appreciated his candor around the many properties he showed me. -

Rosedale Neighbourhood Central Toronto
Rosedale is one of Toronto’s oldest and wealthiest suburbs, located north of downtown. With its narrow, tree-filled streets and turn-of-the-century mansions, Rosedale is where some of Canada’s richest and most famous citizens, including Ken Thomson, reside. Cantine is a friendly, busy, rush bistro style restaurant with a nice neighbourhood feel to it. It’s like your regular, easygoing family restaurant, and it's perfect for a relaxing meal. It has a laid-back air, some funky modern art on the walls, and depending on your table, plush chairs to sink into, even when eating a fancier-than-usual meal.
Even though it’s situated in Yorkville, Cantine is an inexpensive place to grab some brunch, lunch, or dinner. They offer up salads, fish-oriented dishes, sweet and savoury crêpes, great omelettes, and more. I particularly enjoy their fresh-squeezed orange juice and delicious burgers. They also have some decent food presentation skills on hand, and the prices are reasonable.
Another of Cantine's highlights is their wait staff. The familiar faces of friendly servers who have been there for what seems like forever really contributes to the neighbourhood feel. I always enjoy heading out to Cantine whenever I'm in the area. The food is tasty, the waiters and waitresses are amiable, and it's always a pleasant experience. If you're ever in the area, head on over and enjoy what Cantine has to offer.
