Testimonial
Jamie is a consummate professional and VERY persistent. After patiently showing me many downtown condominiums, I still hadn't found what I wanted. However, Jamie continued to send me selected listings of condos that he thought would fit my specifications. One day, I received one of his e-mails describing a property that sounded great. I immediately contacted him and we went to see the condo a day or two later. Within a couple more days, we had made an offer which was accepted by the seller! It exceeded my expectations. I am so appreciative of the fact that he was so persistent and diligent in keeping an eye out for the type of unit that he believed would be right for me.

El Trompo is not for the refined foodie. If you’re looking for an elegant atmosphere and perfectly presented food, you’ll have to head somewhere else. But what you will find here is some decent, simple Mexican food.
When you walk in, you see a counter, a few tables, and a smattering of chairs. Decor and atmosphere are nowhere to be found in the small Kensington Market restaurant, but I was there for the food. El Trompo offers tapas-style ordering, so I enjoyed some perfectly good, soft, little tacos.
I heard their tacos were delicious, and even though they were tasty and enjoyable, I just can't agree with the collection of overwhelmingly positive reviews out on the web. El Trompo makes nice Mexican food, but it isn't out of this world. If anything is especially notable, it's the low prices, but it's inexpensive to eat there for a few reasons: the food is fine, but not great, and the decor is nonexistent. On the bright side, the staff were very nice and it was a straightforward affair from start to finish.
El Trompo is a good, quick, dirty Mexican joint. The food wasn't as good as I had heard it would be, but it was still tasty. It's just a simple, cheap, casual place to grab some hot grub.
