Five Guys, Burgers, and Fries
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Five Guys, Burgers, and Fries is the image of the take-out bag I used for some fries. In about a few minutes, it was absolutely soaked with oil, but …(Five Guys, Burgers, and Fries continued…)

If there’s something Toronto has been sorely lacking for far too long, it’s a restaurant that combines fun with high end aesthetics. Eleven, located right downtown outside the ACC, can be described as just that. It’s a cool, classy sports bar that focuses more on cuisine than athletics.
Eleven is most appealing for its atmosphere. The decor is very cool, with a dark, chic design that manages not to take itself too seriously. The place is fun and loud; great for crowds, or a pre party, or hanging out before a sports event. The restaurant also employs some really cool features, such as ordering from the wine list on an iPad.
Although not as impressive as the decor, the food is good. Eleven offers a big continental menu. I ordered a burger and double cut bacon with maple sherry glaze, and both were delectable. The service was also very good.
In my opinion, a place like Eleven has been long overdue in the city. The fun atmosphere, good food, sweet location, and trendy features all combine to make a great addition to Toronto’s restaurant scene.
