Jamie always make us feel like we were a priority and I was very grateful both for his skills and for his consideration. There is no question that I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone.

As the first offshoot of my favourite pizza place (Libretto), I had high hopes for Enoteca Sociale. Even though it just opened this year, Sociale already has a steady footing. The basic venue — complete with a cute patio — and the easygoing atmosphere lets the real standout shine: the food.
The high-quality food is all made from fresh, local ingredients. It’s meant to be shared Roma style so that everyone can have a taste of the delicious Italian dishes. The cheese plate was unbelievable, as were the risotto balls and pasta. Beverages don’t disappoint either. The coffee there is amazing, but better yet is the bar. I had the bartender order for me so I could try the highlights, and he didn’t let me down.
The portions are fair, the service is great, and the waiters really know the menu. It’s one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto, and I don’t go there enough. The very west-end location can be a trek to get to, but the high-quality food more than makes up for the trip. I love this one.
