This sleek and modern restaurant is a great new addition to the Dundas and Ossington area. Living up to its name with a long, narrow structure and amazing seafood dishes, Fish Bar just gives me a good feeling. The fifty-seater venue — with its simple, nice decor, gentle lighting, and delicious food — is the perfect fit for the neighbourhood.

The restaurant features tapas-style dishes meant to be shared around the table, such as sardines on crostini, great fries, an arctic char worth ordering, and my go-to drink, the Caesar (this time with a nifty shrimp option). I’m not too much of a dessert kind of guy, but even I have to say that the brownie with ice cream and cherries was just amazing.

Portions are nestled right between huge and small, and they're priced reasonably for their quality, with appetizers setting you back about $7 and mains around $15. The waitress was attentive and genial, lending the restaurant’s already laid-back air a relaxing, personal touch. It’s a great place to enjoy an evening out with a group of friends.
