Jamie always make us feel like we were a priority and I was very grateful both for his skills and for his consideration. There is no question that I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone.

The Hazelton Hotel is one of Toronto’s best: great Yorkville location, luxe interiors, and a classy atmosphere. Of course, the in-house restaurant, championed by expert chef Marc McEwan, matches the extra high-end style of the hotel in all aspects: food quality, atmosphere, and (sadly) cost.
The swanky interior, designed by legend Yabu Pushelberg, certainly has the 'wow' factor. I can’t say the atmosphere is relaxed, though. One is showy and “sceney” —there is a constant lineup of Ferraris and Porsches outside, and it is definitely a place people go to be seen — but it has one of the nicest patios in Toronto, and the food is incredible.
The continental menu has offerings of every kind. They even have bar food like burgers and sandwiches. They’ll cost a pretty penny (about $30 each) but the high expense is repaid with high quality — and to be blunt, they just taste amazing. Their breakfast menu is also great, and as a bonus, it’s also a better value. They serve simple dishes exceptionally well, like my favourite, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The bar service is also one of the best in the city.
I don’t go there often, but when I do, it’s awesome. The service is excellent, the food is amazing, and every once in a while, it makes for a great night (or morning) out. It’s a great place for a special occasion.
