Jamie’s Updates – June 2012

Temperatures have started to soar here in Toronto and that makes me think of one thing: barbecuing. I recently moved into a new home with a lot of patio space, so I will definitely be inviting my family and friends to come around for BBQ every chance I get. If you do not feel like cooking, you might want to read my article about the best BBQ restaurants in Toronto, a short summary of my dining experience at the city’s most popular barbeque restaurants.

In Toronto we need to relish every bit of sunshine we can get, and being outside and working on that list of exterior house chores you’ve been waiting to do get done is a great way to do it. Now is a perfect time to knock off things like painting and landscaping. It’s always best to get these things done while you are still living in your home rather than right before you sell so you can enjoy your work! As I have suggested before, think about having pictures of your home taken during the summer time whether you are thinking of moving or not; you’ll thank yourself when it comes time to sell and you have beautiful professional shots of your home looking it’s best.
